Had my first acupuncture appointment yesterday. Not as bad as I thought it would be! They suggested that I come in 1-2 times a week for at least a month to get the best results. So this is where we are starting… I am going to try to get in there as frequently as possible!
She did have a few tips that I never thought of…
1. Do not drink cold beverages – she explained as, just like in the winter when things freeze and slows things down, cold beverages slow down the flow in your body.
2. Try to keep your lower back warm – almost as in the answer as above, to keep the blood flowing properly in that area will help.
She had other tips but these were the ones that I found most interesting and had never heard before.
Finally was able to schedule my first acupuncture session. I have been wanting to do this for a while… In a previous post I talked about Acupuncture for Fertility, and I am all about giving new things a try. You never know what will help.
I am very excited and nervous all at once. I am not exactly sure what to expect, but I am going in open minded and ready to take in the whole experience. Only wish my husband wasn’t deathly scared of needles so he could be there by my side.
