Had my first acupuncture appointment yesterday. Not as bad as I thought it would be! They suggested that I come in 1-2 times a week for at least a month to get the best results. So this is where we are starting… I am going to try to get in there as frequently as possible!

She did have a few tips that I never thought of…

1. Do not drink cold beverages – she explained as, just like in the winter when things freeze and slows things down, cold beverages slow down the flow in your body.

2. Try to keep your lower back warm – almost as in the answer as above, to keep the blood flowing properly in that area will help.

She had other tips but these were the ones that I found most interesting and had never heard before.
